1. Agreement
These terms and conditions govern the services provided by Keystone Roofing & Driveways ("we," "us," "our") to the customer ("you," "your"). By accepting a quote or instructing us to proceed with work, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the scope of work identified during our inspection. If additional work is discovered during the project, we will inform you immediately and provide a revised quote before proceeding.
All prices quoted are inclusive of materials, labour, waste disposal, and VAT (where applicable).
3. Payment Terms
A deposit may be required before work commences, typically to cover material costs. The deposit amount will be specified in your quotation. The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the work.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash. We do not accept payment before work begins in full — any request to do so is not from Keystone Roofing & Driveways.
4. Guarantees
All work is covered by our written workmanship guarantee. Guarantee periods are specified in your quotation and typically cover:
- New roofs: 20 years
- Driveways and patios: 10 years
- Repair work: minimum 5 years
Guarantees cover defects in workmanship and materials supplied by us. They do not cover damage caused by third parties, extreme weather events beyond design parameters, or failure to maintain the installation as advised.
Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from and additional to our workmanship guarantee.
5. Scheduling & Access
We will agree a start date with you and make every effort to begin on that date. In rare cases, weather conditions or supply chain issues may cause delays — we will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs.
You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area, including clear vehicle access for material deliveries where possible.
6. Variations
If you wish to change the scope of work after accepting a quotation, we will provide a revised quote for the additional or altered work. No additional charges will be applied without your prior written or verbal agreement.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel an accepted quotation at any time before work begins. If materials have already been ordered, you may be liable for any non-refundable material costs. We will inform you of any such costs before they are incurred.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you entered into this contract at a distance or off-premises, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of acceptance.
8. Liability
We carry £5 million public liability insurance and full employer's liability insurance. We are responsible for any damage caused to your property during the course of our work and will repair or compensate you for such damage.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us immediately. We will inspect the issue and resolve it at no additional cost if it falls within our guarantee terms. Contact us at info@keystoneroofer.co.uk or 07498 530569.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
